Can anyone explain Michigan short sales law? ?

-

When exactly is foreclosure, before or after the redemption period

It is not at all clear what you are asking with regard to a short sales law. A short sale is simply a sale where the bank will come up short because they will not receive all the money that is owed to them. A short sale occurs when the bank agrees to take less than the amount owed by the buyer.

A foreclosure is like repossession. Everybody knows how that works with a car. Somebody just backs up to your car and tows it away. It is harder with a house and they can’t usually tow it away. They have to go through a series of legal steps even when the process is streamlined by implementing a trustee sale (commonly referred to as a foreclosure even though it is technically different–and simpler).

While a home is being foreclosed on, there is a redemption period when an owner can get their property returned to them by paying the money that they owe to their lender. Once a home has gone into foreclosure, many people get a mistaken notion that they will be able to successfully redeem the property and get it back, but it is usually just wishful thinking on the home owner’s part. Catching up on back payments becomes such a burden for most people that the hope of satisfying the bank and getting a home back is most often quite unrealistic and people who try to do it just end up losing more money.

Foreclosure is a time consuming process, mostly because of laws that safeguard the rights of home owners. Part of the seemingly long process involves waiting for statuatory redemption periods to expire. If a home owner is trying to avoid finalizing the foreclosure, it can often take a very long time–months certainly and more than a year is not uncommon. To someone who wants to buy such a property it will likely seem to take forever before it becomes available to purchase.

Have you ever gotten help from the Small Business Administration?

-

Has your business ever recieved any sort of help with funding, education, marketing, training, sales, or any other SBA free programs? If so, what was your experience?

So-so with SBA. Much better help with their Small Business Development Center office. But, the quality of help is very different from office to office.

WHEN POSTING IN QUICK BOOKS, DO I NEED TO DO A SEPARATE ENTRY FOR SALES TAX I PAY ON SERVICES OR PRODUCTS?

-

Im setting up a new busness and not sure how to separate my tax information

No. Not unless you want to know how much you spend on sales tax. Or unless you plan on re-selling something. Then, you’d need to record it so that you have documentation that the tax has already been paid, and, thus, you don’t need to charge it to your customer (unless you are re-couping the tax you paid by charging it to your customer.)

But under the vast majority of circumstances, there’s no reason to record sales tax separately from the product or service- even when capitalizing an item, sales tax is typically included in the asset cost.

Good luck! :0)

Is there anyone stronger than Superman?

-

Is there anyone stronger or more powerful than the Man Of Steel? Keep in mind, I’m talking about the top-of-the-line, Golden Age Superman, who could push planets with ease and fly faster than the speed of light. The closest being I could think of is Captain Marvel (we’re talking Fawcett Comics Captain Marvel, not newer-DC-dramatically-weakened Captain Marvel)

Now I’m not sure if Kryptonite was a factor in the Golden Age, but before you play the K-card as an argument, you must realize that DC has made it PAINFULLY clear that Kryptonite can’t actually kill Kal-El, just make him break out in a sweat and have a nice little panic attack before someone rolls him out into the sun for awhile. Also, I’m fairly certain that the red sun isn’t a factor either.

Silver Age Superman moved planets not Golden Age. And kryptonite can kill Superman, he’s said so himself multiple times. Just most humans are to slow to pull it out and get in range, as Superman is a light speeder. And actually Fawcett Marvel wasn’t really on silver age superman’s level, his pre crisis was much closer, as he did knock Superman out in All Star Squadron.

Batman has never actually defeated a serious Superman, if Superman didn’t hold back he would kill Batman before he could even pull it from the lead lined pouch.

Goku isn’t stronger, he never showed anything for raw strength. And Superman’s durable enough to tank his most powerful blasts.

Mr. Majestic is likely close or a little below. Pre- Crisis Darkseid was physically stronger, as was Pre-Crisis Validus, Duplicate Boy, and Pre-Crisis Composite Superman.

What next? My business is suffering and I need more business?

-

I need some input and advise. Long story short, I lost my job last year and with some money put away I started a dog training business here in California. I am not a stupid person and I did do a business plan, research, etc. I have done everything to get new clients and dog training sales. I have a website, listed on yellow pages, put ads on craigslist, put flyer’s and cards out at vets, dog parks, shopping centers, on cars, in shops and stores, etc. I have very reasonable and competitive prices and training programs, I am a certified dog trainer through a greatly respected school. I don’t know what else to do? I am running out of money and getting discouraged. I am honest, reliable, and a nice guy. I am great with dogs and a people person. What is my next step? Any help would be great.
Thanks
Thanks guys….all the answers made a lot of sense. I will take notes and try anything. Thanks again, it really helps…..and I will not give up my dream of having my own business!

People don’t have money for extras., they are having trouble paying for basics. Like it or not Over a period of time Republicans have stripped us of spendable cash. They for some reason can’t figure out if we can’t support business they go down the drain, to make matters worse they convince them they are the good guys, they haven’t a clue who is screwing them. Oh well.
